The game takes place in Shadows Fall, a once prosperous city that has just plunged into madness after a mysterious industrial accident. The world has descended into chaos, and survivors are few and far between. Zombies, wild animals and stray humans roam the streets, each more dangerous than the last. The city is full of secrets, and uncovering them could be the key to understanding what led to the collapse of society.

As a lone survivor, your mission is to find supplies, avoid danger and uncover the truth behind the catastrophe. Along the way, you'll have to make tough decisions that will affect the outcome of your journey.
